Applied Fiber Attenuators contain doped fiber for use in 1300nm to 1620nm bandwidth. Our Male to Female configuration is available in 1db increments from 1 to 15db as well as 20db. With a large variety of connector styles in stock, we can offer a quick turnaround time to ensure you get your product when you need it.

Applied Fiber will custom build cable assemblies for your application. We will build to your cable, connector and length specifications from our large stock of components in inventory. Fiber Optic Loopbacks

Fiber optic loopbacks are commonly used in testing to isolate problems in the network or for network restoration. Loopback configurations run the full scope of fiber and connector options. Applied Fiber offers singlemode and multimode (62.5/125 and 50/125).

Copper Products

Applied Fiber 525 assemblies are built on Systimax cable and are constructed with 25 pairs of 24 AWG solid copper conductors. Applied Fiber CAT 5 patch cords and CAT 5e patch cords are each electronically tested and quality inspected. These RoHS compliant assemblies are made in the U.S.A. and manufactured to TIA 568B industry standards. Several patch cord colors and lengths are in stock and available for same day shipping with additional custom lengths and colors available for quick turn around. Preterminated Shelves

Rack mount product offers complete splice and termination options for applications calling for 1 to 35 units of rack space, 6 to 864 fiber count and configuration and connector specifications.

When wall mount applications are needed, the Applied Fiber units provide a complete solution package for 6 fibers up to 144 fibers units. Customer applications come from in stock components and result in rapid turn around.

Large Core Fiber

Applied Fiber Telecommunications manufactures large core fiber optic assemblies that are used in many life science applications. Long years of research and design development have produced fiber that meets the requirements of many critical delivery systems and is used in dental, medical, surgical and diagnostic systems. The large core fiber is essential in unique imaging and illumination environments. Our clean room packaging will insure a product that is produced to your required standard.

Coupler Modules

The coupler modules may be used in many configurations including the LGX style module and the rack mount package. The LGX module will mount into a fiber distribution panel for organization and the couplers are available in a wide array of split ratios and connector configurations. The rack mounts normally use 1U of rack space and are available up to 1 x 32. Patch panels and wall mounts are not fully populated in every case. These loaded adapter panels allow full population at later date beyond initial installation. The pigtails are available in 3 meter lengths, 6 fiber and 12 fiber counts with all connector types.

Master Cords

Master Cords are used to connect sophisticated test equipment to fiber or devices under test in laboratory or field locations. Supporting the test environment necessitates a product built with high quality components, to extremely tight specifications and documented with complete test data. The Applied Fiber Master Cords are perfect matches for these applications and requirements. Various cable and connector options are available and the finished product is shipped in its own protective package.

900 UM Pigtails

Dead Zone Eliminators

OTDR’s require a Launch Cable, Pulse suppressor, or Dead Zone Eliminator when measuring fiber loss from end to end, connector loss, splice loss or any reflectance of optical fiber links. Applied Fiber's Dead Zone Eliminators are customer specific regarding the type fiber, singlemode, multimode 62.5/125, multimode 50/ 125 (OM2) or multimode 50/125 (OM3). Select connectors from a full offering and they will be expertly installed to meet Telcordia and industry standards or better.
